We appreciate your desire to volunteer and help us and others out during our events; we couldn’t pull it off without you!

We are looking for helpful individuals, teams, or groups to assist others complete our challenging events. We have several positions to choose from and always welcome a helping hand for things we did not list. Review the list below and read the details to what you will be doing. Once you find a spot where your unique talents can be best used, click the Volunteer button. Then, select your preferred event and fill out the application form so we can get to know you better. Once you submit, you will receive an email letting you know we received the application.

Course Setup
Volunteers signing up for this position will be required to show up at time throughout the week prior to the event date. Individuals will help out our Race Director and Course Designer layout the course, prepare obstacles and equipment (All the heavy lifting).
Site Setup
Helps with event setup, such as vendor set-up, preparation and set up of water tables, cones, start and finish lines, etc. Basically, helping put the final touches on the course and removing ankle biters before the first wave kicks off.
Registration &amp Sign In
Pretty straight forward, you will assist with registering participants, ensuring they signed a waiver, get the necessary race equipment and are ready to conquer the course the morning of the event.
Volunteer Check In
Assists with the management of Event Volunteers, checking in volunteers, distributing volunteer t-shirts and coordinating volunteers with assigned locations and/or areas of need.
Parking Assistants
Assist with directing participants, volunteers and spectators to parking areas in an organized manner.
Course Safety
Assist with safety and guidance throughout the course. Personnel volunteering for the positions are the ones who ensure participants stay on the course and don’t do anything stupid that will leave a permanent mark after the event.
Station Managers
MUST BE PRIOR Military. Stationed at a specific event to ensure personnel competing in the Green Beret Challenge are briefed and understand their requirements prior to performing the mission.

*Must be approved by SPECIAL OPS’ Series Race Director.

General
Flexible duties. This is for Volunteers who don’t care where they are assisting and are comfortable and can adapt with little warning. We love these people. Don’t make a fuss, don’t gripe, just git-r done.
Participant Energizers
Responsible for cheering participants to victory as they accomplish their goal to complete their event. This is a open time event. Just check in with us and we’ll put you in an awesome location.
Clean Up
Flexible duties. This is for Volunteers who don’t care where they are assisting and are comfortable with being place at an area with little warning.
